ZeroPath: Loan & EMI Tracker

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how ZeroPath ("we", "our", or "the app"), developed by Arjun Yadav, handles information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your personal privacy.

2. Information We Handle

ZeroPath is designed as an offline-first financial calculator and loan organizer:

• Loan & EMI Data: Loan names, principal amounts, interest rates, tenure, EMI due dates, and prepayment records entered by you are stored securely in a local SQLite database on your device.
• Biometric Security: If you enable App Lock (fingerprint or face unlock), biometric authentication is handled solely by your Android operating system. We do not store or transmit biometric data.
• Optional Cloud Sync: If you explicitly sign in with Google to backup your portfolio, encrypted loan snapshots are stored in your secure private cloud database via Google Firebase. You can delete this data at any time.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

• We do NOT request access to your banking credentials or net-banking passwords.
• We do NOT read SMS messages or personal device files.
• We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your financial figures with any third parties or credit bureaus.

4. Permissions Used

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+): Used solely to schedule local push alerts for upcoming EMI due dates.
• USE_BIOMETRIC: Used to unlock the app if you enable the optional biometric lock feature.
• INTERNET: Used to display Google AdMob advertisements and sync cloud backups if signed in.

5. Advertising & Third-Party SDKs

The app integrates Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display non-intrusive banner or rewarded ads. Google AdMob may collect pseudonymous device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID) in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized ads via your device's Android Settings (Settings ➔ Google ➔ Ads).

6. Data Deletion & Retention

Because your data is primarily stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it:

• You can clear all loans and history directly within App Settings ➔ "Clear All Data".
• Uninstalling the application immediately deletes all local database records.
• If you created a cloud backup, you can tap "Delete Account & Cloud Data" or email us to request full server data deletion.
